There are three steps to follow in "penny a point" games.
  1. Make a check in your checkbox.
  2. Work the counter after the event.(add or subtract)
  3. Delete your check mark and start again.

You will find these terms:
odds 1--1, means you win a point. Always in Column #1.
odds 3--1, means 3 points added in your counter if you guessed right. Always in Column #3.
odds 5--1, means you risking one point to get back 5 points. Always in Column #5.
Rows are across. They are divided into 5 cells. Sometimes there are two sets of checkboxes in a cell. The top set is for the home team. The other set is for the visitors. If you have 2 checks in a cell, you collect the odds 2 times. (Provided of course that you guessed right.)
There are always 5 columns in every game.
All-other-stops means stops not listed on the board.
Other-points means points not mentioned on the board.
First player signs in Column #1 and the first checkbox in a set of checkboxes always belongs to the this player.
Second players signs into the second Column and has the second checkbox in the set...etc...

Now the Games
HOCKEY
In the category "all-other-stops", the whistle that ends the period or the end of the game does not count.
It includes items like repair to the ice and stopped along the boards.
Any changes in the game will be posted here.

FOOTBALL
When the ball is on three and a half yard line, it will go to the next category which is "4--8 yards". The same applies to the eight and a half yard count---it will be in the "9--15 yard" category. The rest of the cells are treated equally.
The score is for each quarter.
Changes in the game will appear in this section.

BASKETBALL
The "free throws" are not counted in the second column. Only the points scored while the play is on. They are counted for the score at the end of the quarter.
"All-other-stops" are the ones that are not in any of the columns.
There will be changes in this game so check this area.

BASEBALL
In the first row there is a category called "fair hit". This means that an "out" on base or a fly ball "out" is still called a hit. Considering the odds, it's a good bet.
If it isn't a good bet, we'll change it in time for the World Series.
In the third row, bet on one runner at a time.

CURLING
After each throw the rock will be in one of the cells marked in row one. The guard area and out-of-bounds are of course, in the out- of-circle cell.
The top row of checkboxes in a cell are for the home-team so this should be established before the game.
The score in the third row is for the whole game.

GOLF
Type in the hole being played for each golfer. You could also keep a running score for each golfer.
Items like a delay of game will be included in the D. bogey category.
6+ means 6 strokes or more. 2--5 is that many strokes.

TENNIS
The top row is always for the player that is doing the "serve". Fill in the first to serve textarea for refernce. If the game goes to over-time then you can place your bets in the last row. The 9+ category wins if it goes to more over-time.

BOWLING
A strike in 10 pin Bowling is 10 points and the possible total score is 300 points. The 5 pin game has a total of 450 points because a strike is counted as 15 points.
Fill in the score numbers to fit you game.

VOLLEYBALL
The five choices in row one is for the team that is doing the "serve". If a point is not made, the other team will serve and again the choices are in the first row.
When the game goes to over-time, settle the bets for the regular game and go to the score board at the bottom.

SOCCER
Make your choices between the whistle stops. A "fault" (yellow flag) does not stop the play so you can play it with other choices.
Type in the "home team" and "visitors" textarea for reference.
Settle the bets for the score during half-time and the end of the game.
